The people behind CarToTrade identified that there was the need for a trading website designed specifically for motor professionals. The website had to focus on the integrity of its members and be a platform that was easy to use and very secure. It was essential that this new venture work across multiple platforms to ensure users can access content via a range of different devices, irrespective of location.

Our solution

Rokk worked very closely with CarToTrade to build a state-of-the-art responsive front and back-end solution. Using intuitive design to create a seamless journey, each user is guided through key areas of the platform with each members dashboard being the central focus.

The site is integrated with a range of third-party applications to ensure it delivers relevant information to all of the members’ profiles. Rokk also designed and developed the CarToTrade brand identity and guidelines for usage.

The results

The application is undergoing continuous refinement, with the addition of new features on a regular basis as a result of dealer feedback. Rokk liaise with the customer to agree priorities for new functionality and implement changes using a sprint-based approach.

Recent additions have included the support for large commercial vehicles in addition to cars, real-time pricing for vehicles through integration with third party web services and the inclusion of multiple images on vehicle adverts.
